Which is the best investment? Buying gold or silver? Coins or bulk? I plan to invest 5 to 10% of my portfolio. Thanks.

Financial Investment: I have a small amount of money and i am not sure what to do with it.?

I am concerned about our economy (along with everybody else) and I don’t know what to do with my small amount of money. Should I buy silver or Gold? CD’s, or what. I know nothing about this stuff. All i know is that i don’t want to lose the little I have.

Saving Cash VS. Gold/Silver?

Due to the droping value of our U.S Dollar, I just dont see any reasons to save cash in savings account instead, I think it is wise to buy some gold and silver for long term investment.(10+ years) what do you guys think? Can youguys think of any reason(s) I should continue to save cash???

If I buy silver bar, is it tax deferred?

I know if you buy over a $1000 worth you are not charged sales tax (it’s considered an investment) but what about Federal tax, is it deferred until you sell?
